Kathmandu metropolis fines Angan Sweets for selling sub-standard products

Kathmandu, July 10

The Kathmandu metropolitan city (KMC) has fined Angan Sweets in Lazimpat for selling sub-standard food products.

According to the city’s monitoring officer Balram Tripathi, Angan Sweets was fined Rs 150,000 for selling rotten sweets.

Tripathi said the owner of Angan Sweets in Lazimpat, Ankur Agrawal, has been directed to pay the penalty amount within a week.

He said a further fine will be imposed if Agrawal does not pay the penalty amount within the given time period.
