Kathmandu, September 6
For the first time in its history, the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu has installed a conveyor belt at its domestic terminal.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai inaugurated the belt amidst a function today.
The airport administration hopes that the machine will effectively manage the luggage handling system at the TIA. The installation is a part of the airport upgrading project.
Meanwhile, the airport also installed new security devices at the domestic terminal.
