Dhangadhi, January 6
A motorbiker died in a road accident in the Kailali district of Sudurpaschim on Wednesday evening.
The victim has been identified as Meghlal Adhikari (36), a resident of Belauri municipality-5 of the neighbouring Kanchanpur district.
His motorbike (Se 4 Pa 6021) had hit a crane (Ra 1 Ka 1130) at Gulara, Lamkichuha municipality-6 of Kailali along the East-West Highway. In the process, the bike had also hit a pedestrian identified as Bhawan Singh Bhat (62).
Bhat is injured and is undergoing treatment at the Lamki-based Lal Ratna Hospital.
