Kathmandu, November 12
One young man died whereas another one sustained injuries in a motorbike accident at Lovedanda, Kamal rural municipality-5 of the Jhapa district in eastern Nepal, along the East-West Highway.
The motorbike (Province 1-02-041 Pa 2000) fell on the road after the rider lost control over the vehicle at around 12:45 am last night, informs the Damak Area Police Office.
Seriously injured in the accident, the river, Dilliram Shahi, a local, died in the course of treatment after around one hour, according to police.
Rupam Tamang (25), a resident of Itahari sub-metropolitan city-2 of the Sunsari district, who was riding pillion on the two-wheeler, sustained injuries in the accident.
He is undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
