Sheikh Asif, the founder and CEO of Soan Menu, a digital menu platform, and Thames Infotech, a Manchester-based information technology company, has announced free online entrepreneurship courses for interesting Nepalis.

The emerging entrepreneur from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India, says he is on a mission to revolutionise the information technology sector, and hence started providing free digital marketing, web design, and graphics classes online.

Sheikh Asif has trained over 1,000 students to date and has helped over 100 businesses in the Covid pandemic to bring businesses online. He has published three books on business, titled Digitization In Business, Online Business Ideas and Start a Business.

Due to financial issues in his family, Asif could not continue his studies and started working for local companies. In 2016, he took over Thames Infotech, where he had been working for almost 1.5 years. In the course, he has won many awards including recently bagged Entrepreneur of the Year, Digital Marketing Expert, and Social Media Expert. He was nominated for India’s fourth-highest civilian award, Padma Shri in 2022.

Now, Sheikh Asif wants to share his skills with everyone in the world. With this mission, he started online classes in 2018 and trained many students, including those from Nepal.

“I have seen many Nepalis working in our territory as labourers. I couldn’t find anyone working for a good company with a good position,” he tells Onlinekhabar, “Now, I want to teach them for free so that they can come to Kashmir or work remotely for my company and other companies based in India with good positions. “

Students from Nepal can reach him directly through his official website, his Facebook or Instagram to register for the said courses for free without any hidden fee. These courses will be certified and job-oriented.
