Kathmandu, August 21
A two-and-a-half-storey house has sunk in Bansbari of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3.
According to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, the house sank at around 8 pm on Thursday. The building was being used as New Gandaki Guest House.
No one was inside the building when it sank, and no casualties were reported, the metropolitan city said.
The city said the house sank due to heavy rainfall.
According to Maharajgunj Police Circle, other houses in the surrounding area are also at risk. Local residents have been urged to remain alert and take necessary precautions.
