Govt transfers 31 CDOs

Kathmandu, August 29

The government on Thursday announced the transfer of chief district officers of 31 districts.

According to the transfer list made public by the Ministry of Home Affairs, CDOs of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Morang, Makawanpur and Surkhet among other districts have been transferred.

Kathmandu’s incumbent CDO Ram Prasad Acharya has been sent to the ministry. Janak Raj Dahal, who was the CDO in Jhapa of eastern Nepal, will replace him.

Likewise, the CDO of Lalitpur district, Prem Raj Joshi, has been transferred to Makawanpur district. Dhading’s Bhagirath Pandeya will replace him. Makawanpur’s Aash Man Tamang has been sent to Dhading.

Meanwhile, Kavre’s Udaya Bahadur Rana has been sent to Jhapa.
