Kathmandu, January 31
Senior advocate Surendra Bhandari, who had advocated for medical reform activist Dr Govinda KC during a recent trail in relation to a contempt of court case, says Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli threatened to kill him.
Earlier this month, Dr KC had faced the contempt of court charge for publicly claiming that Chief Justice Parajuli was corrupt and he had repeated his statement during the trial too.
Now, Bhandari says Parajuli called him twice to threaten him whereas he sent some people to his chamber with the same threat.
Bhandari has submitted an application at the Kathmandu District Administration Office demanding security today. He has also demanded that Parajuli be booked if anything happens to him.
