Gold prices continued to set new records on Monday. Compared to the previous day, the price of gold increased by Rs 1,900 per tola today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold has been priced at Rs 260,700 per tola, the highest level ever recorded.
The previous record, set on Asoj 31, was broken just a day earlier on Sunday. Gold had traded at Rs 258,800 per tola the previous day, while the price on Asoj 31 stood at Rs 258,000 per tola.
Silver prices have also increased by Rs 45 per tola. Silver, which traded at Rs 3,825 per tola the previous day, has reached Rs 3,870 per tola today. Earlier, silver had set an all-time high of Rs 3,905 per tola last Friday.
