Kathmandu, August 18
The price of gold has increased by Rs 3,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in a single day.
According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association Nepal, the price of gold, which was Rs 149,600 per tola on the previous trading day, has risen to Rs 152,600 today.
This is the highest record price so far. Previously, the highest price was set on August 14, when gold reached Rs 150,500 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has increased by Rs 20 per tola. Silver, which was priced at Rs 1,740 per tola the previous day, has now reached Rs 1,760.
