Kathmandu, January 27
The gold and silver prices have set new records in the local market today. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has fixed the price of hallmark gold at Rs 309,000 per tola, while the price of silver at Rs 6,870 per tola today.
The foreign media have stated that the gold per ounce is traded at 5,073 US dollars, while a similar amount of silver is traded at 109 US dollars in the international market today.
