Gold price drops by Rs 5,100 per tola, down Rs 24,400 in a week

The price of gold fell by Rs 5,100 per tola on Thursday.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association fixed the price of fine gold at Rs 286,700 per tola for the day.

The previous day’s price stood at Rs 291,800 per tola. With the latest decline, gold prices have dropped by Rs 15,200 per tola over the past two days. On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 301,900 per tola.

Gold prices have fallen by Rs 24,400 per tola in the past week. Last Thursday, the precious metal was traded at Rs 311,100 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver declined by Rs 90 per tola on Thursday. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,740 per tola on the previous day, dropped to Rs 4,650 per tola.

Earlier on Tuesday, silver was traded at Rs 4,925 per tola.
