Kathmandu, November 5
The price of gold in Nepal has dropped by Rs 2,900 per tola following the Tihar festival.
Before Tihar, the price of gold had reached an all-time high of Rs 171,100 per tola last Thursday. However, today, Tuesday, it fell to Rs 168,200 per tola, as reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The decline in the Nepali market is attributed to fluctuations in the international market. Silver prices also saw a decrease, dropping Rs 60 per tola since Tihar. Silver was priced at Rs 2,090 per tola last Thursday and stands at Rs 2,030 per tola today.
