Kathmandu, March 4
The price of gold fell by Rs 11,000 per tola on Wednesday.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations has fixed the price of gold at Rs 317,600 per tola for the day. On the previous day, gold was traded at Rs 328,600 per tola. The decline in the domestic market follows a drop in prices in the international market.
Earlier, on Magh 15, gold had reached an all-time high of Rs 339,000 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver decreased by Rs 275 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 5,815 per tola the previous day, dropped to Rs 5,540 per tola on Wednesday.
