Gold above Rs 260,000 again; silver at record high

Prices of gold and silver rose in the Nepali market on Thursday. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association fixed the price of gold at Rs 260,400 per tola for the day.

This is Rs 700 higher than the previous day, when gold was traded at Rs 259,700 per tola. Earlier, last Monday, gold had reached a record high of Rs 260,700 per tola.

Silver also set a new record today after rising by Rs 25 per tola. While silver was traded at Rs 4,055 per tola the previous day, its price climbed to Rs 4,080 per tola today. Silver has been hitting record highs for the past two days.
