Janakpurdham, August 18
A girl, who was missing for the past three days in Sarlahi, has been found dead. Priyanka Bhujel, 16, from Ranijung in Lalbandi Municipality-17, was reported missing by her father on August 15.
The Area Police Office said that the 16-year-old was found dead near Kalinjor Khola in Lalbandi Municipality-6, some three kilometres away from her house.
DSP Madhav Prasad Budathoki said that the body was found in a decaying state.
The girl’s body has been taken to Malgawa District Hospital for post-mortem after which the police will take the investigation forward.
