Kimathanka, May 26
A 21-year-old woman has been hacked to death in Ghimiregaun in Khandbari municipality-1, Sankhuwasabha on Thursday.
Yuna Darnal of Sabhapokhari rural municipality-1 was murdered by Nandaram Gadal, 23, of Sabhapokhari rural municipality, DSP Birendra Godar said.
Police said that Gadal attempted to die by suicide after murdering Darnal.
Gadal is currently receiving treatment at Khandbari District Hospital.
Darnal and Gadal shared the room on Thursday, said Godar.
The reason behind the murder is unknown.
