Kathmandu, September 30
The Foreign Employment Office in Kathmandu, located in Tahachal, has halted issuing labour permits to foreign employment aspirants from Wednesday as a staffer there contracted Covid-19.
Kumar Dahal, the director-general of Department of Foreign Employment, says some other staff of the Kathmandu office under his department have also reported some symptoms of coronavirus infection.
“Therefore, all services including labour permits have been halted for now. However, our office will remain open.”
