Kathmandu, October 19

Foggy weather conditions across hilly districts of the country have affected flight schedules at airports in the respective districts, inform officials.

Most of the flights from Kathmandu to Lukla of Solukhumbu scheduled for Tuesday morning have been cancelled. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal says flights could not take place to and from Dolpa and Jomsom (Mustang) airports of western Nepal and Tumlingtar (Sankhuwasabha) airports of eastern Nepal.

Likewise, no flight could take place to the Humde Airport in Manang although Tara Air had planned six flights to take a Bollywood crew there for shooting today.

Airports in Bhadrapur of Jhapa, Biratnagar of Morang, Janakpur of Dhanusha and Pokhara of Kaski have reopened by the late morning.
