Kathmandu, January 6
A major fire has broken out at a timber warehouse in Gairigaun, Kathmandu.
According to SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, the fire occurred at a timber warehouse located in Gairigaun. He said further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
Following the incident, thick plumes of smoke have spread across the area. Nepal Police, Metropolitan Police, and fire brigades are currently working to bring the fire under control, police said.
