Kathmandu, August 23
Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj has welcomed Nepal’s Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to New Delhi as he landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport this morning.
Swaraj took the state guest to the Rashtrapati Bhawan, where Deuba will stay during the visit.
Deuba had reached the Indian capital on a Nepal Airlines aircraft from Kathmandu today.
On Thursday, Deuba is scheduled to meet Indian President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi among other political leaders.
Nepal and India are likely to sign some agreements of bilateral cooperation during the visit.
He will be back home on coming Sunday, August 27.
