For those preferring the latter, the journey to Ringmu involves a 4-5 hour hike through Phaplu, Chiwang, and Fera. From Ringmu, a 2-3 hour trek leads to Government Pati, followed by a challenging ascent to Kamidanda at an altitude of 3,860 meters.

Dudh Kunda, also known as the Milk Lake, is celebrated for its natural beauty and spiritual significance. Located in the Solududhkunda Municipality, the lake is surrounded by ten smaller lakes, including Gangajumuna, Bhut Pokhari, and Akhepokhari. Hindu Belief: Hindus believe that during the churning of the ocean for nectar, Lord Shiva consumed a dangerous poison to save the world and drank water from Dudh Kunda to neutralize it. This belief is intertwined with the lake’s sacred status.

Kirant Tradition: The Kirant community holds that Dudh Kunda is linked to the origins of Khaling Rai, with the belief that the souls of the deceased are guided to the lake for peace.
