Triveni (Nawalparasi), August 13
Transportation at Daunne of Nawalpur has been disrupted due to road subsidence last night. Only one-way traffic is allowed at Daunne section along the East-West Highway to repair the road that caved in.
The road would be partially operative till 1 pm today, according to DSP, Bed Bahadur Paudel. It would be repaired till then. DSP Paudel further said the road collapsed at Daunne of Binay Triveni rural municipality-2. The maintenance works would be carried out to prevent further damage.
The vehicles using this road section are urged to adopt an alternative route till the completion of maintenance.
