Dhangadhi, December 25
For the next seven days, Dhangadhi airport in Western Nepal only be in operation at night, officials said on Tuesday.
According to airport authorities, the runway will remain shut from 6 am to 6 pm as engineers work on its maintenance. “We need to repair the runway as it suffered damage during the rainy season,” says Civil Aviation Authority Dhandgadhi chief Tej Bahadur Thapa.
According to Thapa, the airport will open during the day from January 1.
