Dhangadhi Airport to resume flights after one month

Dhangadhi, June 12

The Dhangadhi Airport in Kailali district of Sudurpaschim province is resuming its operation from Wednesday.

The airport was shut since May 5 to repair the runway.

The airport’s chief Tej Bahadur Budhthapa says the renovation and extension works reached the final stage. Hence, the airport would resume its operation today.

The airport spent Rs 220 million in the repairing and extension of runway.

The airport conducts five flights from and to Kathmandu everyday. Public were hit hard due to the closure of the biggest airport of the province.
