Minister for Defence, Bal Krishna Khand, said on Wednesday that the government is committed to implementing the new Constitution.
The three major parties made the Constitution together. They will come together while implementing it
Talking to journalists in Chitwan, Minister Khand expressed hope that three major political parties — Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre — which made the Constitution together, will come together while implementing it too.
Khand also said local elections will take place on schedule.
Khand went on to claim that local elections will take place on schedule.
In a different context, he said the Nepal Army will undergo restructuring as per its need. He lauded the national army for its role in the unification of Nepal, national independence and strengthening of national unity.
