Kathmandu, January 9
Laxmi Cares, an NGO established and managed by the staff of Laxmi Bank, organised a show to honour veteran singer Deepak Kharel.
Kharel enthralled an audience of around 300 people, representing the corporate and the business world as well as music enthusiasts from all walks of life, at the event held on Friday.
The organisers say the proceeds of the event shall be used towards social causes under Laxmi Cares as it has been active in various sectors such as the installation of solar lights and sanitary pad vending machines, and scholarships for school students.
This was the second edition of the Tribute to Legends series. The first edition was held in September 2019 as a tribute to veteran singer Deep Shrestha.
