Kathmandu, February 8
Two senior citizens died in different fire incidents in two districts of the country between Monday and Tuesday.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority’s daily bulletin, the incidents occurred in Morang of Province 1 and Dhanusha of Madhesh between 10 am Monday and 10 am Tuesday.
At Ichhapur, Kshireshwar municipality-9 of the Dhanusha district, Matari Devi Pandit (80) died, as per the District Police Office. Likewise, Gyan Maya Rai (71), a resident of Kirtipur, Pathari Shanischare municipality-7 of the Morang district, died in a local fire incident as reported by the Pathari Area Police Office.
