Dang, February 21
A truck hit has killed a motorbiker on the Lamahi-Tulsipur road of the Dang district in Lumbini on Monday morning.
The truck (Province 1-02-001 Kha 9404) heading towards Lamahi had hit a motorbike (Ra 2 Pa 8924) head-on at Bhanu Chok, Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city-3 of the district.
The biker, Arjun Khadka (19) died on the spot, informs the Dang District Police Office.
Meanwhile, kin of the victim and locals have obstructed the road demanding an investigation into the case and compensation to the victim’s family.
Hundreds of vehicles have been stuck halfway on both sides of the road due to the obstruction since 9 am today, according to police.
Meanwhile, the law enforcers have arrested the truck driver Rirendra Kumar Purbe for a probe.
