A motorbiker has died as an SUV hit his two-wheeler in a road accident in the Dang district of Lumbini on Thursday.
The victim has been identified as Yubaraj Chand (43), a resident of Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city-16 of the district, informs the Dang District Police Office.
A Bolero four-wheeler (Ra 1 Cha 385) heading towards Ghorahi from Dang had hit Chand’s motorbike (Ra 4 Pa 402) head on, on Thursday.
Seriously injured in the accident, he was taken to the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Ghorahi, but died during treatment, informs DSP Mukunda Prasad Rijal, the District Police Office spokesperson.
