Court approves four-day custody for RSP Leader Arnico Panday

The court has granted permission to keep Arnico Panday, a central member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, in custody for four days for investigation.

The Kathmandu District Court extended the investigation period against him by four days.

He was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly abusing a woman through social media.

The Cyber Bureau stated that the arrest followed a complaint filed by the woman.

Environmentalist Panday had joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party, led by Ravi Lamichhane, in August 2022.

He also became a member of the National Planning Commission in 2023 while the Rastriya Swatantra Party was in government.
