Cricket World Cup League 2: Nepal announce final squad for Namibia, Netherlands series

Nepal has made two changes to the team for the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, which is beginning in Nepal on Thursday.

Anil Kumar Sah and Dev Khanal, who were omitted from the initial squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, have been included in the final squad announced on Wednesday.

Their inclusion comes after their performance against Canada in the bilateral ODI Series which Nepal won 3-0. Sah scored a half-century and an unbeaten century in two matches and Khanal scored 76 in the only innings he got to bat in.

The two replace Arjun Saud and Rijan Dhakal.

Dipendra Singh Airee, who is in Dubai at the moment, is likely to miss two games due to his commitments with the Gulf Giants.

Nepal will start their ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 campaign against Namibia on Thursday. Subsequently, they will take on the Netherlands on February 17, followed by another match against Namibia on February 21. Finally, Nepal will face the Netherlands once again on February 25.

Rohit Paudel (captain), Aasif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, Aarif Sheikh, Pawan Sarraf, Bhim Sharki, Anil Kumar Sah, Dipendra Singh Airee, Gulshan Jha, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Lalit Rajbanshi, Surya Tamang and Dev Khanal.
