Thankot-Chitlang road section of Ganeshman Marg is going to be closed till July 4.
According to the statement issued by the Chandragiri Municipality, due to the need to use breakers in the Seto Pahro road section for its construction, the company has to close the road section.
According to the statement, the road will be completely closed from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from Thursday to July 4, as the road is being closed at the request of the company that has been awarded the contract for the construction of the road.
On Tuesday, the road division sent a letter to the municipality to close the road under the divisional road office of Kathmandu.
This section of the road, which becomes muddy and dusty during the rains, is a short distance road from Nijgadh, Birganj, Hetaunda and Thaha Municipalities of Bara to Kathmandu Valley.
Due to the lack of upgrading of this road section, there is a compulsion to travel to Kathmandu at high risk.
