Sarlahi, October 16
The driver of an Indian-registered car was killed and two others were injured in an accident in Sarlahi on Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred at Banke Bridge in Parsa Rural Municipality-2. Police identified the deceased as Bikal Sah, 24, of Gaushala Municipality-5, Mahottari.
According to Superintendent of Police Rabindranath Paudel, chief of the District Police Office Sarlahi, the car (registration BR 06 BA X 0435) was travelling from Mahottari towards the district headquarters, Malangwa, when it went out of control.
Shambhu Nath Kumar Sah and Shubham Kumar Sharma, both of Gaushala Municipality-4, were travelling in the car and sustained minor injuries. They are receiving treatment, police said.
The cause of the accident is unknown, and police are investigating.
