The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is set to purchase various cricket ground equipment using funds received from the International Cricket Council (ICC).
CAN issued a notice on Monday inviting international competitive bids for the purchase of various ground equipment. CAN said part of the funds received from the ICC will be used for the procurement.
The equipment will be purchased through a “single-stage, two-envelope” bidding process. Companies and firms participating in the tender will have to submit their technical and financial proposals separately.
Eligible bidders can purchase the tender documents from CAN’s office in Mulpani until September 15, 2026. Applicants must submit a written application along with a copy of their company or firm registration certificate. The tender document fee has been set at Rs 10,000.
Those wishing to submit bids electronically can download the documents free of charge from CAN’s website.
Bids must be submitted to CAN’s Mulpani office by noon on September 16, 2026, either in person, by courier or electronically.
The bids will be opened at 1 pm the same day in the presence of representatives of the bidders. The bids must remain valid for 120 days.
CAN has made a bid security of at least Rs 1.5 million mandatory. Those submitting bids electronically can submit a scanned copy of the bid security in PDF format. The security must remain valid for an additional 30 days beyond the expiry of the bid validity period.
CAN said that if the deadline for purchasing or submitting bids falls on a public holiday, the first working day thereafter will be considered the deadline.
