Biplav says extortion is natural right, ban is ludicrous

Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’

Kathmandu, March 14

The chief of Communist Party of Nepal which has been carrying out various terrorist activities of late, Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, says the ban the government has recently imposed on its activities is ludicrous.

The splinter group leader has further claimed that extorting money from various sources as ‘donations’ is a natural right; hence it should not be questioned.

Biplav has hinted that he is not going to bow down to the government anytime soon.

“Connecting the action taken against us with the extortion drive is Prime Minister KP Oli’s mean and shameless ploy,” Biplav said in a statement on Wednesday evening.

“We have not collected money from any foreign power centre. We have not received commissions by flattering others,” the statement further reads, “We are launching a revolution on our own. Since we are fighting for the future of the people and the nation, collecting donations is a natural right.”

The party has appealed to its supporters not to get into illusion of the government’s ban and continue supporting.

The leader has warned that his party is ready to resist the government suppression as the ‘betrayal’ of Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal compelled his party to launch the revolution.
