A leader of the Maoist party led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ has been arrested in Lalipur on Sunday morning.

The arrestee has been identified as Sabitra Adhikari aka Bidushi, who worked as the Lalitpur district secretary of the party. The arrest was made while she was preparing for a corner meeting this morning.

‘The government has banned activities of the party accusing it of its involvement in terrorist activities.
