Biplav Group’s former central committee member Lohani arrested

Kathmandu, October 22

Police have arrested a former central committee member of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand group in Chitwan,

Gunaraj Lohani, who was recently removed from the central committee for ‘health reasons’, was arrested in Baseni area of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11 on Monday morning.

Lohani told police that officials had already taken action against him two months ago. He said that he was now living as an independent citizen and was not involved in any illegal activities.

Lohani is being kept at the local polie office for further investigations, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Spokesperson at District Police Office, Chitwan Eka Narayan Koirala.
