Kathmandu, August 31
A total of 903 bodies have been recovered from the flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) released the latest figures on Monday, saying the data is based on information collected as of 9am.
According to the authority, 4,227 people are still reported missing, while 10,451 people have been rescued so far.
Unidentified bodies have been kept at 21 hospitals in different districts.
Of the 267 people injured in the disaster, 156 have been discharged after receiving treatment.
A total of 20,819 security personnel have been deployed for rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts.
Of them, 8,722 are from the Nepali Army, 7,894 from Nepal Police and 4,203 from the Armed Police Force.
