Kathmandu, March 9
A 19-year-old youth was found murdered inside his own house in Nijgadh municipality-9 of the Bara district in southern Nepal.
The victim has been identified as Rohit Sharma, a resident of Buddha Chok, Nijgadh-9, according to police. Police had recovered the body of him inside his house this morning.
Sharma would work as a painter. DSP Gautam Mishra of the District Police Office says a permanent resident of Chandrapur municipality of the neighbouring Rautahat district, he also owned a house in Nijgadh. He had rented out the ground floor of the house to a restaurant whereas he would live on the first floor.
Some customers of the restaurant had reported to police that they had seen an unidentified person coming out of Sharma’s flat and going on a bike.
Further investigation is underway. Sniffer dogs have also been mobilised.
