Kathmandu, July 12
Most part of Kalanki area on the western part of Kathmandu has been submerged under water due to the nonstop rain. The area was submerged after water level in Balku Khola rose significantly.
The rainwater has caused havoc in the Traffic Police Office and Land Revenue Office along with Khasi Bazaar and Maitri Nagar. The water level has reached the first floor of most houses in the area.
