
Kathmandu, October 11
The Nepali Army has deployed teams, including personnel from Kathmandu, to assess the damage caused by a flash flood in the Budhi Gandaki River.
Both aerial and ground teams have been mobilised in the affected areas.
Nepali Army spokesperson Rajaram Basnet said a quick reconnaissance team had been dispatched from Kathmandu along with a helicopter. Local Army teams have also been deployed with rescue equipment.
The teams will assess the situation on the ground and assist with rescue and relief operations, according to the Army.
Teams from the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force stationed in the affected areas have also been mobilised.
