Kathmandu, October 28
Since Monday night, there has been heavy snowfall in the Annapurna Base Camp region.
The snowfall occurred in Annapurna Rural Municipality-11, at Annapurna Base Camp. Located at an altitude of 4,130 meters, the base camp currently hosts both domestic and international tourists, who are enjoying the snow.

With the snowfall, the cold has intensified, affecting daily life. However, locals are happy as the snow is expected to benefit their crops.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, due to the impact of a low-pressure system developed over the Arabian Sea, rain and snowfall are forecast in Nepal today and tomorrow.
