CPN leader Barshaman Pun has suggested that Giribahadur Sunar, Nepal’s proposed residential ambassador to Saudi Arabia, withdraw his candidacy.
Speaking during a hearing before the Parliamentary Hearing Committee, Pun urged Sunar to step aside, citing the seriousness of the complaints filed against him.
“I would urge you to reconsider your nomination for the ambassadorial post and withdraw it,” Pun said.
In response, Sunar said he also had evidence and argued that further allegations should not be made based on hearing only one side of the story.
