Kathmandu, October 5
A fire has broken out in Kapali Tole, Suryabinayak Municipality-8, Bhaktapur.
According to the Police Circle, Jagati, Bhaktapur, the fire started at around 6:30 am today at a scrap shop run by Nawaraj Bhatta.
DSP Deepak Karki said the fire may have been caused by a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
“The scrap shop is built of tin sheets and iron, and the information is that the fire started from a short circuit in the electrical wire. Further investigation into the incident is under way,” he said.
Police and locals have worked together to put out the fire.
