Four JSP Nepal leaders resign

Kathmandu, October 4

Four leaders of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal have left the party.

Those who have left the JSP Nepal led by Upendra Yadav are former lawmaker Indu Kumari Sharma, central advisory member Md. Yusuf Safi, Central Election Commission and Law Department member Ghanashyam Sharma, and Pushpa Raj Chaman.

In a joint statement issued today, they said they have resigned from all responsibilities, including ordinary membership of the party. They also said they will carry forward their political journey through a campaign called “Hunkar Madhesh”.

Earlier, nine central leaders of the Rastriya Mukti Party led by Rajendra Mahato, including General Secretary Keshav Jha, left the party. They announced the launch of a new political campaign called “Hunkar Madhesh” in Kathmandu on Asoj 9.
