The District Police Office, Kathmandu, has arrested 250 people from various locations in Kathmandu in a sweep operation.
Office SP and spokesperson Dan Bahadur Thapa said the 250 arrests were made over 24 hours across various locations.
Of those arrested, 227 are men, and 23 are women. Police have been carrying out the sweep operation and action under the Safe Kathmandu campaign.
Police arrested individuals with various criminal backgrounds, repeat offenders, those causing public disturbances, and others disrupting public peace, among others.
