Kathmandu, September 13
Miss Nepal Deepmala Dhakal has reached Dhunche in Rasuwa to distribute relief materials to those affected by the Bhotekoshi flood. Dhakal, who also holds a position with the Non-Resident Nepali Association, is currently in Dhunche.
She had previously distributed relief in various flood-affected areas of Nuwakot as well. She had gone to Vietnam to support Luna Luintel at the Miss World finale, and travelled to Dhunche to distribute relief immediately after returning.
Having spent three days in Dhunche, she distributed four truckloads of clothing, food supplies, solar panels, and bedding materials to those affected. Photos she sent from the location show her interacting with affected children and the community.
