Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has visited flood-hit Rasuwa with a team of experts. He travelled to Rasuwa on Friday to assess the loss of life and property caused by the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River.
According to his secretariat, Thapa reached Ghicheth in Ward No. 3 of Naukunda Rural Municipality along with a team of experts. Earlier, on September 1, he had visited Ward No. 3 of Bidur Municipality in flood-affected Nuwakot.
On Thursday, Thapa said that the party would prepare and make public a detailed report based on observations made during its field inspection of the flood-affected areas. The devastating Bhotekoshi flood on August 26 caused extensive loss of life and property in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading.
