The bodies of 1,252 people who went missing in the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa have been recovered.
According to a bulletin issued by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) at noon, the bodies of 1,252 people reported missing in the floods have so far been recovered.
According to the authority, 127 bodies have been recovered in Rasuwa, 177 in Nuwakot, 60 in Dhading, 69 in Gorkha, 38 in Tanahun, 218 in East Nawalparasi, 208 in West Nawalparasi and 355 in Chitwan.
The authority said 4,216 people are still missing, while 11,993 people have so far been rescued.
A total of 5,135 people have been injured in the floods.
